Glass plate formats: 2.25"x3.25", 5"x7", 6"x8", 8"x10", 12"x10".
A few Wet Collodion and majority Dry Gelatin plates.
Project involved securing, cleaning, addressing silver tarnish, fixer stains where ever possible, construction of sink matts for oversize plates, constructing glue-less storage boxes for smaller plates, inventory, metadata carryover, silver gelatin thiocarbamide prints, removal of fungal colonies, design and usage of tissues, four flaps in Light Impressions Apollo paper (matched to silver halide) and digitising.
Last inspection in April 2019 revealed the plates to be in prime condition.
A show of 160+ of these images is under way with 670 mega pixel scans from the larger plates producing exhilarating detail.
